    Default solve clue #3

i decided to post this here cause on a treasures trove nobody really read it but looked past it..all that site seems to do these days is play guessing games and post things that have nothing to do with this game..so i thought id run it past some of you..im stuck but have an idea on how to solve this clue..
.what i came up with is very simple. if you look at the letters there is only one "Q" if you move the letters around like a puzzle by removing the "Q" you would then make 10 colloms of 9..kinda like a rubix cube(flatened)where you can remove a peg..(does anyone know this game) its a puzzle for kids..anyways i was never good at it but i was just thinking and wanting to help out..so the flower petels might be the codes on how to move the letters around..in the solution book he has the puzzle where the faces 5 become 4 before your eyes..i think it could be linked..so please anyone out there that is good with this kind of thing just give it a try..i will try also although my brain sometimes cant work that way well goodluck~carin

Thanks, photo. Are you talking about the slide puzzles where you have one blank, and you slide the pieces around on the board until they line up? If so, I believe that's been suggested, though I'm not sure if it has been tried. if you are talking about something else, please clarify. Thanks!

I suggested that strategy several months ago. However, no one has been able to get anything out of it. Maybe you can find somthing we all missed. Good luck.

photogypsy, I saw your post on ATT site but didn't respond because I don't understand it. How do you take out 1 letter (Q) and end up with 10 columns of 9. Perhaps if you explained it better for us morons on the ATT site we'd be able to respond.

I think I understand it. After taking out the row ADVENTURER, that leave 90 letters. Removing the Q allows the other letters to slide around. That was mentioned a while back, but we seem to have come no further. I'm stuck, stuck, stuck. Revisiting ideas certainly does no harm.

Im not calling anybody names here...let me try to explain myself more clearly. Clue #3, look at the entire grid, pretend to remove the"Q" completly. Leaving you with a missing space. (Forget about the word adventurer, that is there to throw you off) Now just like the old puzzle games, shift each row with all of its letters together, there will always be a missing space. If a Rubix cube was flattened with all of the colors mixed up, you can take one out and re-arrange the puzzle with all the colors lined up in a row. Just like the letters, there is a way to move the letters around to spell new things. The old puzzle games also had picture images on them and you would have to make the puzzle by moving the rows of little squares. If I could draw images on here besides write them I could explain my self better.
I am a visual person and I know this is something that has not been tried, however my brain does not work that way. If this makes no sense im not giving up on trying to explain myself for you out there

I know what you are talking about, because I remember playing with those little "sliding squares" puzzles as a kid. They used to be sold in dime stores a long time ago (haven't seen any in a while, but I haven't looked, so maybe they are still out there.) It would really make sense that Q would be the empty space. I'll try this.

Do you have any idea how the petals would relate to it?

By the way, does anyone know where I can find a picture of Clue #3 aside from the ATT website? For some reason I can't get it there. It's an empty screen when I click on it. I can get Clue #4 but not this one. I never printed it out. I do have the letter grid for #3 all written down, so I have all the letters, but not the petals.

    Default Clue 3

Spigan: go to our TOOLS section and there is a wonderful tool made by RDIX. I think its the third item TOOLS. You may be able to print that one out.

I was wondering about solving as a word search. Now Adventure(r) is easily seen but if you look at column 4 the word "treasures" is scrambled. If you go to row 9 and start at the letter "J" and move in a northeast direction, the scrambled word is "Jewel" I have also found "No Equal" in row 2 scrambled. Column 6 is the word "Gems." Just a thought.
