Yeah, I remember some bleary-eyed Trover had Clue #2 posted on the Yahoo forum the very next morning.

Not sure why MS waits 2+ weeks.

I remember reading on the first Clue 3 thread something like this: One of the forum members here had emailed MS with the question, "When will you post the solution to Clue 3?" And if I remember right he replied that he would not post the solution to Clue 3 on the website unless/until it had been posted by someone.

That's what I remember reading anyway--Looks to me like Clue 3 contains very useful information.

I, too, have my original book.- in pages. Still kept my original notes that I thought might be good history. If nothing else, to relive how silly I was. - I use the archives on this site to verify some clues and thoughts that I believe I may have read, and not dreamed of. - As for clues leading to something else (maybe or maybe not Rusful, who knows now?), sure they are in the book. They might tie into the new clues for tokens. I expected something more complex from MS who seems to be both right and left brained. Perhaps this is it! I'm hoping that some of the things I found back in February and March are going to be pertinent. I hoping there are no "red herrings". We'll all see.

welfam--I searched some things in the archives too. Many of the ideas are really entertaining if nothing else. A few times, I happened to be reading an old post that had nothing whatsoever to do with what I was searching, and I'd see some odd little detail that would jumpstart my brain.

Has anybody tried to search the archives of the ATT posts? I tried but couldn't get the archive button to work.

I think everybody can have both good ideas and silly ones. Sometimes the newbies with fresh eyes have the best ideas of all, but just don't know they are good ideas, and so dismiss them, or if they follow them up, they don't understand how to connect it with the rest.

    I believe that the
    URN SITE HONORS THE DEAD
I'm pretty sure he posted this just before he went to the Badlands. I couldn't find the follow-up, but he later explained that this phrase has some meaning in another treasure hunt or game ("HIDEOUS", perhaps, whatever that is), and he was sort of trying to give a hint that they had the Beetle.

Okay, so that's not really "announcing" that he had it, but it sort of was. I actually remember reading that post when he first made it, and having no idea what it meant, I thought somebody had dipped one too many times into the loopy juice.
