    Hi Everyone,

This is my first day back since the storm and I am totally shocked about the 14th token. Sorry to say I have lost my books and all of my notes so I will just be a bystander for a while. Do some of you still believe there are other tokens out there....like ones for Zac and Ana? Interest to see if this hunt will last all the way until the next book is released.

Thanks Mimi...we are just doing the FEMA/SBA shuffle right now. Trying to purchase some property further north into Mississippi. We will see how it goes. I want to thank everyone here for their thoughts and prayers...without them who knows where we would be.

    Glad you're back cajuntic!

Would you believe I had really thought Rusful was in cajun country! I was *sure* he was in Vermilion Parish.

Thanks, I had a whole notebook full of clues that led to Louisiana. At first I thought the dragonfly was here since the words "I'm in Louisiana" are in his wings...but alas I was wrong. Then I thought Pook was here just because I was so positive one of them was here. So many clues for Louisiana but no treasure. I haven't seen the solve book. Does it mention all the unused clues?

I've read the solution book, and IMO it intentionally leaves out a lot of unused clues that could be used later. It also leaves out the Pook solution. It could be that the book was already in final form by the time Pook was found in August and it was too late to put it in.

Who knows, but there could still be one in Louisiana.

on the soultion book i think the one we have now is not the end all
because the hunt doesnt end tell 12-31-2007,or till M.S. says its over
he put it out without the rusful token solve in it, why do that
because the hunt is not over. not sure about mates puzzles, but pretty
sure there are faries and z,a,y. and maybe a jewle box if a j box would
love to see the jewel for it, thinking that is the big prize. remember
ana gave the box to the faries with jewels to hide, and zac found jewels
without box. will have to read agian to figure out how many faries.

    My letters:

    N E E
    (RE) G O T
    S S A
    L D D P
G R(UI typo for UL, UI not on page) K
    C K Y R
    P R B

this gives something more like GOLDEN GATE PK RED PRYR BK CRSS
or GOLDEN GATE PK PRYER BK CRSS RD

    Hi jrrag,

I like the idea that the solution might include "RD", but I don't see where you are getting those letters.

The 4th cross, where you have "RE", should be filled by the letter "N" from "howled and writhed". The 13th cross, where you have "D", should be filled by "G" from the word "morning". Isn't that right? Where are you looking?

You aren't goofy. What's goofy is having the answer but not the whole solution!

There must be some sane way to order the crosses.

    thanks for the check maskit.

What i failed to realize was that the december 10th (final) set of crosses were complete except for just the centers, meaning that any other square that is blank really is a blank on page 66. Taking that into account, i now agree that G and N are correct instead of my RE and D. You can get the RE from cross 4 by using "appeared", but then there is a blank below where there shouldn't be. i thought the fact that he included 2 letters in some of his boxes might be a clue that we might need to do the same. I got D from cross 13 using "around", but again, it turns out there is a blank where a space is not.

Thanks again Maskit. Now to figure out where the order came from...

    Cajuntic,
I am SO sorry about your loss. I do hope things turn around for you.

Are you still in New Orleans? If so, perhaps you could check out the New Orleans City Park. I have information from Clue #5, from an illustration in the book and from text in the book that tells me there is currently a token in the Park. It would be either at the Pavilion of Two Sisters or between the Pavilion and the Popp Bandstand. My clues say 'near the azaleas'. This makes sense. The azaleas are at the east end of the botanical gardens which is next to the Pavilion. I don't believe its in the Botanical Gardens, just nearby. I believe its in a kind of fir tree.

If you are able to find the token, let me know. Due to your terrible Katrina situation I will provide you with all the required documentation for the find and you can claim it.

    Good Luck,
    Searcherite
