    Default 24, 25 and 26 tags

I know many of you think I'm wasting my time on all these anagrams (and many may be dead ends, I admit) but I just made a connection that may be of interest for floor 10.

As I worked with the "shelf of frozen timepieces" phrase (found toward the end of the text that goes with Floor 11), I kept getting the words "fern emcee" as a part of a possible anagram. I was checking something else on the periodic table and noticed that elements 24, 25 and 26 have the symbols Cr, Mn and Fe. These could be scrambled (and slightly reinterpreted) to match the "fern emcee" outcome I was seeing. Lo and behold, the tags on the ears of the animals on floor 10 also match this threesome. (Back to that thing about the clues that come in threes?!)

    Bear tag = 24
    Tiger tag = 25
    Lion tag = 26

    Elements:
    Chromium CR = 24
    Manganese MN = 25
    Iron FE = 26

    CR+MN+FE = FERN M C = FERN EMCEE

I'm sick of anagrams for today, so feel free to run the "fern emcee" possibilities yourself. I will note though, that there is a breed of dog called a Shih Tzu that is a close homophone for some of the words you might see....

    Default as we learned

you did waste your time - why do people make this so hard? It's not about codes and puzzle - it's all about the picture clues.

    How about this....

State: Florida- Stain in Elevator shaped like state (not to mention the other things those stains could represent)
Hwy: 75 - add the tags together (24,25,26)
    MM- 307- chair, snake, spider
Bushnell Rest Area...kind of goes with the "bushy theme" of the room too...not that that matters.

Now, if I could get my Florida facebook friends to go digging.

I've thought "8" too but it may be misleading as a snake has no legs and this is clearly a symbol that represents legs with the other two. Well, how about semi-clearly (like swim goggles with defogger on them).

Anyway, just a use of clues that works. 387 is a HIGH number mile marker...well, so is 307 but hey, we're not talking Texas here. Anyway, tis my guess on this. I'd risk the drive if I still lived in Tampa Bay.

    Cheers and ON ON.

Am I the only one who thinks that the fact that the animals tagged are a lion, a tiger, and a bear might point towards Kansas?

I considered this but don't think they were actually in Kansas when faced with the three beasts. As well, Kansas only has 3 interstates: 35, 70, 135 Which don't seem to fit the number clues. Never know though...

    Default Florida

I like the I-75 from the tags (24+25+26) and I like mile 307 from the stool, snake, spider (three legs, zero legs, seven legs). So I decided to look at each state that I-75 runs through, looking for a rest stop at a 307. Florida. Could be why the guns are all pointing to an alligator. Plus, Domino independently came to this as well!

My girlfriend said the same thing, but remember: each tenant rearranged his/her apartment themselves to remind themselves of the state/highway/mile. If you wanted to remember Kansas, wouldn't you reference the Wizard of Oz?
