    In the case of ATT, the poem contains a line that says something like "the one that is missing you didn't see" (quoting from memory, so it might be slightly different). There is one letter that you won't find in the whole story.

    For uses of Polybius (5x5) when it is not ATT there are two prefered versions, J or Q missing. That depends sometimes on the text to decipher (if it contains one of the two letters, then that one has to be in the 5x5) or on the author's taste.

    A solution book has been published for the first 12 or 13 prizes in ATT. Q is the letter omitted from the 5x5's used for these prizes.
    I believe that the most conventional 5x5 includes both I and J in the same square, with the context easily determining which is to be used.
