Do you think that them pointing to specific letters throughout the book could be part of this as well? Of all the puzzle pieces, they only point to two of them. Perhaps they could be part of this as well?

I don't know... I have a gut feeling that the faeries aren't necessarily pointing at anything at all. Look at all the hidden things that they don't point out...
If you can't be a good example, be a terrible warning.

All I know is that, the theory presented seems pretty good to me. It makes sense and is a different way to look at the whole thing. Since I don't have a token in hnd I'm more than happy to hear someone elses take on things. Helps us to get out of ruts.

Spinner...Excellent observation...I think you may be on to something...I'm currently working on the finger theory, but am wondering about the thumbs? Should we consider them fingers to include in the count?...We also have fingers or digits that are partially hidden, curled under or incomplete, should these be counted?...Also, the picture of the S-dragon on page 45 has the red-headed fairy pointing with an obviously distorted hand to something? I feel that it must be part of a more profound clue or MS would have made it look natural, such as the index finger pointing with the other 3 fingers and the thumb tucked under... page 44 is also confusing because some digits are clearly visible while others are either curled under or partially hidden...have you noticed this and what have you concluded?

Okay, does anyone think the colors that the fairies are wearing on pg. 36 mean anything? Could we somehow take the colors they are wearing and the number of fingers they show and connect them some how to a corresponding puzzle in the book?

Funny you mention that...I had my 10 year old look at that celtic border on 20 and 21. I then asked her what she thought of all those colors, she said it reminds her of the fairys...They all are wearing bright clothes is what she told me.

Wow. Well, there are re-occurring colours in the knots... are these the colours of the pointing faeries?
