Default well since we are talking about creepy stuff page 41

this picture boarders on inappropiate, IMO, in a childs book.
The fairy on the right bothers me for some reason. Surely he could had pointed the fairys hand in a different area.

We've heard that discussion before, w2p2, and most of us have chosen to see that the fairy is pointing to the BUTTON.

Other areas are lower, and not suitable, and I'm SURE not what the author intended!

Same with the fairy on p 36... she's resting on her LEGS. We see her blue knees.

I'm sure in his next book, he'll be more careful in his drawings.

Default Spared part of the forest

Why would he have spared that part of the forest where Ana lives? Just did not get to it yet or ANA is his Daughter...

After re-reading the book for like the 20th time, the following line made me think of this thread (the following quote is not exact, as I don't have the book in front of me):

Rusful "had read somewhere that certain types of fairies enjoyed playing with such silly things [socks]"

It seems obvious to me that if he READ it somewhere, he read it in Ye Nomenclature of Faeries. Now how on Earth would Rusful have access to this book?

i suppose you're right. Besides, if a fairy and a human can have a halfling child then there must be enough compatability for a reasonable test.

    i'll go get my swabs...
