# Thread: Mate to Ant on page 45

1. ## Mate to Ant on page 45

On page 77, in the cursive writting, bottom border, look at is upside down. Thus, this is the ANT puzzle, with mate on page 45, which is the text puzzle. Look for the only "dot" and that is the eye, the rest of the boddy goes from left to right when viewed upside down, about 2 inches long.

2. That white dot (the *only* one in the *whole* border) on P77, does make a pretty good argument for that being the eye of the Ant!

WOW, GOOD FIND - Now what do you think 45 and 77 have in common, how to we solve. I have no thoughts and am burnt out. GOOD FIND

4. As I have read from others, I think there are 3 parts to each puzzle. The first is the "dream" and determining the overall structure to the puzzle that is common to all puzzles...that will yeild us the codes/numbers that convert to the names in hand, then we have to solve the specific creature puzzle (graphical) and then lastly the details of the directions are in the text part of the mated creature. I still have not broken the way we get the codes (which I still think are letters that convert to numbers in a 5x5 table which equate to zip codes (then to names). But I may be way off track as well and burnt out also!

5. maybe?

6. The ant is between the 2nd and 3rd squares from the left on the bottom row p.45, is that where it puts two decoded #s or letters? Two per animal, 1 extra, perhaps pook, i dunno, just an observation

7. On page 48, look down on the middle of the page. The word "empty" appears on a line by itself. Now look directly to the left of the word empty, at the second leaf over. The leaf used for the "U" in "YOU". Look at the white cut out portion of said leaf. Now, to me, that looks like I'm looking straight down at an ant. Or is it just me?

8. ## You are definetely on to something
