Thanks for the cool version of the seeds, cegodsey! I was thinking that if you take the 4 seeds across the top (ABAC) and assign them A=3 B=4 C=1 you get SP. (See green) Of course they aren't truly in order, it's more like ACBA or something... but hey, I'm grasping here!

I outlined what could be the key in 2 spots (See red)

I also had a thought that perhaps the seeds that are "hidden" to the left (they overlap the border) were the initials 'MS.' That would be (from top to bottom) 33 34 (A=3 B=4). (See blue)

Deb, the nice thing about the bottom key set id that they are directly adjacent to the scarf ticks...

Makes for a nice assignment of 1 - 5 to seed types.

    Default need for a key

some have had keys (snail, hummingbird) but i dont recall the acorns for firefly having an isolated set for the key. This one 'seems' so obvious as to the 5 directions, he may have felt setting aside 5 for the key was unnecessary. And the key 5 for snail and hummingbird were isolated from the others - here it's all together.

Jep, you rock - nice observation. I am at work or I would totally see if I got anything. My boss already caught me once on this forum. I can't wait to see if that produces anything!!!

Jep - I had an idea that the extra dandelions were to indicate another layer of code. Oh, and your avatar doesn't work. Just a big X, like my pic on the first post.

Doublecross - thanks for the pic. Sometimes, when you rely on others, well, why would we want to do that?

Using a rough < bottom-to-top, left-to-right> ish cipher order and normal loaded key table yields:

    oiliphtsrydyylfjn
    or
    xrhrdltniupuuhbws

    Tada!

Looking at top one backwards there is a FLY and a LION in there.

That's funny. I have always been assigning my dandy's directions based on which way the white part points, not the other way around. Not that this matters....

NICE Images everyone! Now maybe this thing will get somewhere. I love the idea of the Roman numerals in Ana.

Great effort. You get an A! It is nice to see it in one place.

If we assume that the half-ticks on the scarf have meaning, then another logical assignment might be:

Where the circled seeds are buried completely within the border, and therefore might coorelate to the half-ticked numerals on the scarf.
