this is just an observation.....if you look at the satellite image of North Jackson cemetery and look straight above it past the residence off of N, salem warren rd. there is a unique donout shaped area..........

I have no problem with it, coming from an ARG background, where this sort of thing happens a lot. We just need to get fellow hunters, folks we know will share the clue, to be at those events. A few of them have been claimed over on Unfiction - I'll be compiling a list later this week.I wrote two emails to the author, expressing this opinion. To actually plan to give out extra clues at the book-promotion tour sites is a mistake. It doesn't imbue the hunters with confidence that the playing field is on the level.

Solving for Y (latitude) from the blackboard equation on Level 12 is +31.39151526.
I assumed 'Y' would be latitude, but it must be a longitude.
Yeah, let's break it down:
6*PI + y^2 = 61985/100 + (1197*15), =
6*PI +y^2 =619.85 + 17955=18574.85,
18574.85/6*PI=y^2,
SQRT 985.42723=y
31.3915151=y
And apparently it IS a latitude, puts it in the south, despite the Mi in the periodic table.
No, 18574.85 divided by 6 then divided by PI (3.14159) is 985.42723. The squareroot of that is 31.391515.
This emerald is somewhere in Mississippi.
I think it's in the Homochitto National Forest. I just got my book this morning. The latitude puts in the the south US. The insertion of 'Mi' in place of Argon on the periodic table places it somewhere in Mississippi, which is consistent with the latitude of 31.391515.
The longitude is going to be -90 something.
