very nice find! Looks like either Maranatha is copying the symbol of the bat or these pendants have only recently become available and are copies of Maranatha emblem. I tend to think the bat pendant came first.

It appears that they did not even attempt to alter the symbol and must have intended that it would be discovered.

Here is a possible explanation for why they chose this symbol:

BAT = 23 and 22 in standard and simple gematria.

Combined the 2 values give the number 2223.

Additionally, BAT = 103 in Agrippa and Masonic codes.

A possible confirmation that both standard and simple gematria is in use in this puzzle and possibly even Agrippa and Masonic forms of gematria as well.

    Hmmm. that's interesting Phil.

    How about B U L L S H I T = 2 + 21 + 12 + 12 +19 + 8 +9 + 20 = 103

    That's even more interesting. LOL!

    Sorry Phil couldn't resist.

    Horace,

Even I have a sense of humor, believe it or not...LOL

That one actually made me laugh.

Seriously though, the bat is very significant.

The bat wings behind an hour glass are found on the gate to the graveyard at Rennes-Le-Chateau shown here:

The hourglass represents TIME, which has a value of 47.

The hourglass also contains the shape of the grail cup and GRAIL = 47.

The wreath that surrounds the hourglass and wings looks a little like bunches of grapes, and

    GRAPES = 66 and 63 or 6663

Of course the wreath could be something else, any ideas?

I'm not attempting to convince you of anything related to gematria, only sharing what is there. I know for a fact that it is in use beacuse I have used it to decode portions of the puzzle.
