Just thought would pass this snippet of information on which I have found while reading books lately.

The Pentagram - French occultist Eliphas Levi said "The Pentagram is the allegorical star of magi". The ratios of the lines which make up a pentagram are in the sacred proportion - what Leonardo da Vinci called "The Divine Proportion". The Pentagram with an encircled dot in the centre was one of the Egyptian Hieroglyphics. It was the SBA-Star which represented the idea of God, Time and the Spiritual Essence. It is believed that the pentagram of western magic is linked with this hieroglyphic. shown on the walls of the funerary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, ancient Thebes. The cosmic man within the pentagram from Agrippa's De Occulta Philosophia 1534 shows plantary sigils in the outer band in a clockwise direction - it shows the ancient order of the planetary spheres, omitting the Sun.

Sanscrit name DEVAS - Devas spiritual beings invivible to ordinary sight who are the lesser gods, equivalent to angels. The Sanskrit work DIV means to shine. Devas appears as beings of light and they are believed to cause temporary blinding of people who have accidently perceived the devas. The light is said to be so bright.

In Vedic religions DEvas were regarded as being spirits of light, who were helpful to man., but in the later Zoroastrian cult, the devas were demoted and were viewed as demons. They say this is why the Sanskrit term "Div" may be traced in contradictory words as "Divine and "Devil"

In occultism, the word DEVACHAN, which originally meant "the way of the Gods" or "The way of the Devas" is now used to mean "Heaven"

Enochian - It is suggested that Enochian language is named after the Biblical Enoch, the son of Jared, and seventh in the chosen line from Adam.
