Belief, faith, or proof??? I seek the latter. All i have to go on is "alleged" correspondence. So the burden (pardon the pun) is on you John. You can post a screen shot of the emails of course but that does not confirm the author.
    I missed this one Trax.
So you doubt the correspondence occurred? Fine by me.
So you doubt if the person I was talking to was D? Fine by me.
So you doubt my intentions? Fine by me.
So you doubt D's intentions? Fine by me.

All I can say, is what I know happened - I can't confirm that the mails were actually typed by D - but I can confirm they came from an address that I already had for D.

Can I ask, what would you accept as proof of what I've said? Not of the content of what I've said, just that the correspondence occurred? I will say up front, that I won't give out D's Email or my personal details here or to anyone on this forum. I can confirm D's EMail to Cthree in a PM - and he can (if you believe him) can confirm or not that it's the one he uses.

I honestly don't care what you choose to believe. That wasn't my intention. My only intention in posting what I did, was to give the people here the same info as me, so they could make up their minds on the same basis. A level playing field - as I thought the stuff I had, shed D in a different light to the two posts he had posted here by Cthree.

PS Maybe Cthree can confirm or not, whether the 'PDF 5' that I posted agrees also with the second one he received from D.

    Is the "second one" posted?
If we don't have the key, we can't open whatever it is we don't have that it unlocks. So what purpose would be served in finding whatever need be unlocked, which we don't have, without first having found the key what unlocks it?

    Diablo,
I thought so - it was zipped as the PDF broke the size limits. It was only one of the files - I can zip the others if you want - but as I said, they're not amazingly different, just some of those issues pointed out were corrected (and in some cases additional errors introduced - ie Terribilie should have been changes to Terribilis, but ended up being Terribilies).

I've re-attached the one here (PDF 5), to save you searching back.

    Proof of insolvency.

It would be an announcement away from a fringe forum - an official announcement either by PP, Time Monk or evidence from a reputable third party such as Company House.

John - I have to question everything. Time will tell - its only been a few days.

If its all true then dont you think its unethical to continue selling the books? The number I rang answered "priory publications" (I realise they are an agent only but they are still operating for the sole purpose of selling one book).

Adding to the mystery, the last clue was the 13th clue issued on the Timemonk site.

So, are we supposed to believe that Priory just happens to go bust after the 13th clue on the new website? 13 is such an important number to this puzzle, I find this very hard to believe that something else is not going on here.

    Trax,
OK - well, I can't help you here, as the proof that you've requested isn't anything to do with whether what I posted came from Duncan or not and seems to be about the validity of Ppubs and their current state, all of which I know no more than you.

PS I read your story as well.
If it was just meant to be humour - not bad - Dan Brown did a better job, but he had more time. And me as a public school boy? No - bad casting!
If it was meant to be a veiled dig, then if you have something to say, just say it. As I said, I don't care if you believe what I posted - that's up to you lot here. I just wanted you lot to know what I did.

    Question Solidify the Wisdom

The LRB is a puzzle book, and we have been provided with the solution the puzzle in the PDF's but this has been given without revealing the other layers relating to the key (due to legal restrictions etc).

Duncan found the historic 'Key' whilst researching a copy of a 500+ year old artefact.

Now that the puzzle is ended… Can the identity of this artefact be revealed so that we can identify the 'Key' for ourselves?

There should be no intellectual copyright for an artefact 500+ years old which I guess is in the public domain.

We would then have something 'Solid' to work with..!

    here here mothman!!

John it was just a spin off the cuff as to some bigger conspiracy theories loosely tied into recent developments. In my "ideal" novel you would be the arch enemy but after interogating DB you would find in yourself the great truth and work against the big bad guys. FICTION honest.... i just thought you were a good character to build on.

I truly was just meant to laugh at the farce we have all becoma involved in.

I dont think you really are the bad guy, (I was even gonna bring in a nazi aspect to the character..... just for drama - would never accuse you personally of it)

So i figure if any of you think this "plot" can be thickened for a fun book i guess any contribution becomes inteelectual property. Come on guys- tell me your role in the thriller that is unfolding. (PS I DONT KNOW MINE YET>>> ITS A COMPLIMENT JOHN THAT YOU ARE A PLAYER)
