Another dream. People knew that the Cardinal had the book, only because he wanted people to know that he had the book. And just because he had the book, doesn't mean that he believed that it's content was about something real. It could mean that he believed that someone else believed that the content was about something real.
Like Priory Publications, the Cardinal was advertising. Perhaps the Cardinal was looking for a specific Alchemist.

    1. Look for the book in an obvious and public way.
    2. Mock-up a book.
    3. Pretend to of found the book.
    4. Get his best new friend the Count to authenticate the mock book.
    5. Let the Count tell all the Count's friends.
    6. Sit back and sip mai-tais and wait for your target to approach you.

Sorry for the delay Ruby and everyone,,, Ruby had requested the business plan that Trax had posted.

Default A Very Long Conclusion to a Dream?

When I was a very young boy I used to have a recurring dream that I was off travelling somewhere and in the land I was in, off in the near distance, was a large castle with several minarets/spires reaching up. I had no idea where this was but it was an inviting and magical place. So, as always, I would head off toward it hoping to get in. As I would draw closer, each time, a small figure in the distance would run up towards me, carrying a sword. As the figure stood in front of me I would often ask permission to go in and time and time again the small figure would draw his sword and slay me to the ground. It seemed like I could even feel the pain of the sword going in.

As a young child it was of course a somewhat traumatic dream, yet it also seemed to force me into some primordial place of security and indisposable anger.

The last time I had this dream, when the figure ran up to me and again drew out his sword, I wrestled the sword from his hands and used it upon him and slew him to the ground. The consolation was that I was now free to travel into the castle and see inside. It was a place full of everything a child could ask for: rooms and shops filled with toys, games, sweets, etc.

Recently I traveled with others to Orlando and as it seems requisite, we went to DisneyWorld. As I approached the center of the park, I realized that the castle was THE castle from my dream (which would come as no surprise really since the castle there has come to stand as a somewhat archetypal symbol for the concept of a castle in general) and I watched the somewhat campy performance put on by performers about turning dreams into reality. It however did not seem as campy as it would have before.

Finally, when I returned home, I reached into my pocket to remove the paperwork and rental agreement for the car I had used. I didn't see it while I was there but the first three numbers of the license plate on the car I was driving was 681.

This is very interesting for quite a few reasons, I need to think about it some more. Thanks for sharing.

Looking at your post number, # 108 ... a somewhat revered number.

Also, Check this out ( using the 108 as a year )

108 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Year 108 (CVIII) was a leap year ... as the Year of the Consulship of Trebonius and Bradua (or, less frequently, year 861

Tacitus writes Histories, which covers the period from 69 to 96.

"Its architecture has inspired several further buildings, including Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle."

the first thought that may crop up is the difference between the Sleeping Beauty and the Cinderella.. well, it turns out that..

"Cinderella Castle was inspired by a variety of real and fictional palaces. These included Fontainebleau, Versailles and the châteaux of Chenonceau, Pierrefonds, Chambord and Chaumont, as well as Castle Neuschwanstein, Bavaria, the Alcázar of Segovia Castle in Segovia and also the Moszna Castle in Poland which was built in the 18th century, in addition to the Tyn Church in Prague, Czech Republic, which was built in the 14th century. The chief designer of the castle, Herbert Ryman, also referenced the original design for the castle in the film Cinderella and his own well-known creation — the Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland in California.[1]"
