1. Now have the book, couldn't wait for delivery from over the pond (date expected 17th Jan 2013), so used Amazon (UK) and got it 3 days, So will have a spare clean booklet when it arrives.
What a great booklet, Prof, you must have spent ages compiling this, and Beth's artwork finishes it off nicely.

Anybody who likes codes and ciphers will love this book, go on buy it.

2. Thanks for the compliment Shrek! Prof Tarr only gave me one day to throw that artwork together.

I think I have the items required for the intro solve, but for some reason have not been able to put them in the correct sequence to yield anything but gibberish. I am so forward to working on this book, but cant semm to even get off theblocks.

Can someone throw me a wee nudge?

4. The following contains a big spoiler so do not look unless you want your solving enjoyment ruined. I warned ye!

For the good professor:

5. lol... Molnar, congratulations... PM me and we'll work out details on getting you the prize... ! Great job... I feared it might be too easy for the big guns... great job!

6. Steve... there was an error on the cipher text.. I explain two alternatives to get there here: The Missionary and the Brute: The Best Laid Plans...

Even though molnar solved the puzzle, I will offer up signed copies of the book for those who want to continue.

7. Introduction:
What we know - cipher font at bottom is zipher - a mock-up of that used by Zodiac killer. Therefore Zodiac has something to do with it. This is confirmed by an obvious misspelled word in the text, and some overt ones as well. There is one answer per paragraph - with the first paragraph being different. The answer that is different will be used as your base. (This will hold true throughout the puzzles.) So what is the one that is hidden differently? And which one is missing? Then when you have all this - use the sequence you find in conjunction with the 'different' answer for your key.

Now here is the thing - even though some folks have used mechanical means to solve some final puzzles, it is the path to the keyword that will be important. And the missing..

So you should have what you need for the Introduction. Now that Molnar has successfully solved the puzzle, we can be more open in solving the sections... Maybe spoiler tag specific answers. Thanks for playing!

I hope that you find it enjoyable as story as well as puzzle. Wow!

8. Great Job Molnar!
