Default Order of jewels on the web

Has anyone else noticed the curious ordering of the jeweled insects that was posted alongside the Jan. 20 clue?

Clue ordering: Bee, Ant, Caterpillar, Dragonfly, Firefly, Grasshopper, Hummingbird, Ladybug, Snail, Spider, Butterfly, Beetle http://www.atreasurestrove.com/Publi...lues/index.cfm

I say curious because it's different from the way the jewels were initially ordered on the jewels page of the website:
Ant, *Bumble* Bee, Butterfly, Caterpillar, Dragonfly, Firefly, Hummingbird, *Rhinocerous* Beetle, Spider, Ladybug, Grasshopper, Snail
    http://www.atreasurestrove.com/Publi...wels/index.cfm

I wasn't sure if there was any significance to this, but then I checked out the events calendar for the California Academy of Sciences. They have a completely different order, too: Bee, Butterfly, Caterpillar, Dragonfly, Hummingbird, Firefly, Ant, Beetle, Ladybuy, Grasshopper, Snail, Spider
    http://www.calacademy.org/events/atreasurestrove/

Not sure if this means anything, but I can't help but find it odd. Like the strange labeling of the bee as a "Bumble Bee" and the beetle as a "Rhinocerous Beetle," it seems like an intentional clue.

    Any ideas?

I've brought this up a few times before... This is why I've been trying to categorize *all* of them! :P

I'm right there with you, H4T. Started writing my insect classifications today. So far I've only had time to research the ladybug and dragonfly, but I'll stick with it.

    How about this?
Caterpillar = Larva? (Butterfly or Moth?)

    *edit*

Oh, and someone brought up this interesting fact on another thread, complete with pic links... Our story Grasshopper is *really* a Katydid!
