    Default PEOPLE MAGAZINE

Has anyone seen the new People magazine that came out today with the article on MS? He refers to an ad on pg. 77 that is an Ocean Spray Cranberry ad. It supposed to have a clue about the crystal Pook.
Part of the ad looks like this:
    .....2/3.....

    5 to a side

I hate to say this (after spending almost an hour and a half going to 6 stores to find the new People magazine, I really, really hate to say this!) but I am quite sure that the page 77 that Mike Stadther is referring to is page 77 of the book and not the magazine. Page 77 of the book is the one that reveals "There are thirteen". Wish I had thought of that before I drove around for so long. Has a picture of the crystal Pook though (value of $3,800) so I guess it wasn't a complete waste of time!

Nice little bit of publicity... I like the look of the crystal pook! As described in the book, looks moe like a "ferocious snarl" than a lovable doth.

Tokens found: zero. (no, I don't expect I'll have to edit this)

    Default Masonic Logo

It's interesting how crystal pook image on ATT.com has the Jewelry Designs logo in the corner. I've been to the jeweler's website before (www.jewelrydesigns.com) and puzzled over his curious compass-and-diamond symbol. Besides a large image of the spider jewel, it's the only other thing on the homepage. My initial thought was that it looks an awful lot like the Masonic emblem, with a gemstone measuring device that looks like a compass and a diamond in the same position as the Masonic "G".

Seeing the logo on the official Treasure Trove website, I can't help but wonder if there's any significance. Normally I'd be the first to discount anything remotely conspiracy theory-ish, but given that there are at least two Mason-related stories in the companion book, and the curious tools on p.19, maybe just maybe there's some connection.

Turkeymonkey, I totally agree with the mason thing and wonder why we haven't found any Pigpen in the book. Strange that he would specifically put it in the CB, and then not use it in the book like he did with the morse code which is even more well known.

Actually Honeybee I do believe there is Pigpen. I just started working on it this past week. It's a bit difficult to decipher. If you are interested on working on it with me hit me up.
