    Default Claiming The Prize

On the official site...token is buried in U.K....

Within the pages in the book there are several clues as to the whereabouts of the token. If you can discover its whereabouts you can visit this web site to claim the cash prize which increases with the sales of the book.
The token contains a secret code that will allow the prize to be claimed online. Details of how to claim the prize are included with the token.

There is no place on the website to claim a prize. The "Claim the Prize" link refers back to the token with the same text that is on the back of the book. The website looks pretty stale.

As with all treasure hunts, I am skeptical about it. How do we know there is prize and a way to claim it?

My thought as well. And, how can the Q4T website be so stagnant on this hunt as well? Hardly a post there, how long this been out?

The site is still set at 1000 pounds as well, has no other book been sold?

Maybe this hunt is a parodox juxtiposed to some other thematic expression resulting in a Quantum Leap?

Legit? I dont know, but Senor Wild sure was prompt and polite in his responses and in getting me the book. Much appreciated. Now, will the book find shelf life or be forever in my briefcase for easy, quick reference?

Are the mods here in contact with the author? Any chance he would tell us how many books have sold? I am curious if the 1000 GBP listed on the website is the current amount. I am also curious about at what point the pot will start growing at 1GBP/book.

Sorry been sick for the last week, sent off an email with the questions, I did notice on the website:

An initial prize fund of 1,000 has been set up to cover the First Edition print run of 1,000 copies. Subsequent print runs will generate additional contributions to the to the prize fund.

Since the offer is for the First Edition books no money has been added to the prize fund. I'll let you know about claiming the prize as soon as I hear back.

Thanks Holli, feeling much better now!

Pete has told me that if you can find the token then the instructions are included to claim the prize. And not to knock anyone out of the competition if you are unable to make it to the location to retrieve the token than submissions via the contact page will also be accepted.

As regards to the prize fund, it is confirmed that only after all the First Editions have been sold will the fund start to increase. At the moment the prize fund is still 1000 pounds put up by the author himself but over half of the First Editions are gone. I'm sure this is to get some of his costs back as this book is self-published.

Spread the word, there are still plenty of books up for grabs and once those First Editions go then the prize fund can start growing.
