    Default Let's begin

OK, let's begin talking about this hunt. Before I start posting more threads, does anyone have ideas for how to organize? Want to do discussions by illustration? The pages are not numbered, so I figure we could refer to the images by the phrase on the top border; "Many Worlds", "Gravity Is Less", etc.

Or, just give a shout out here and let people know you are working this hunt.

I would have a thread for each illustration, one for the poem at the beginning of the book and then one more for the rest of the text all together.
Unless someone thinks that it is necessary to have a thread for each one of the poems that go with the images.

    I'm in!
but with my business and the holidays I might be hit and miss here ...
the images are what interest me ...finding the lies !!
I like the idea of a thread for each image
    and for the poem
I believe the text is gonna be part of the "lie" as well...or a clue to it I mean.

Do you think the "lie" and the "secret" could be the same thing on the image? Or, must they be different parts of the image? And what constitutes a "lie". An inaccuracy? An anacronism?

I'm working on this one too...I think it ought to be organized by poem, illustration and text. One separate thread for each...if it works.

I suppose we'll know the "lies" when we find them---such as the continents on the first painting. Or maybe "lie" is a way of saying "location"--like golfers use the word.

I've got lots of questions in my head since reading this book:
    here's two:
    1. the book is inspired by Kit Williams' Masquerade. (it has similar art work but i not the same method of solving any riddles or clues)
    http://www.bunnyears.net/kitwilliams/index.html
    2. What's with the square with numbers inside on the illustration Blue Nile White Nile?
I think its either maths or science... what made you think about Atlantis?
