Sounds like a good plan, Kevin. I wish you luck.

Curious, what significance, if any, has been attached to the bird images in the pictures? In some, there are full birds, in others just an outline, and in some no birds that I can see. Has anything been speculated about these?

In the NY picture, (image 12) it has been speculated that the bird is like the gargoyles on the Chrysler Building. In the Boston Picture, (image 11) the bird's claw may be significant--it is the shape of a spit of land in Boston Harbor. It is also a black hawk or falcon, and right by that particular spit of land, there is a street called Black Falcon. Where do you see other birds?

In image 6 on the right side of the stones, there is the outline that to me appears to be a birds shadow, kind of in the same shape as the bird in picture 11, image 10, on the left side, kind of behind the key, that shadow also appears to me to resemble the shape of the bird in 11.
Maybe its just my imagination, after staring at these so long, BUT since you mentioned the BIRD in image 12, the Eagle Head ALSO matches one at Anheuser Busch here in St Louis, also thin image 9, the cat head/horse leg that was found in Canada, I think I have located the cat head here in St Louis. It appears to be a Gargoyle Head on one of the church's here in St Louis. The leg, I don't know. I keep plodding along, though.

If nothing else, I am having a lot of fun learning about the history and architecture surrounding St. Louis.
I grew up in West St Louis County, and never really ventured into the city, but this is really kind of neat, and have found some really cool, neat places that I would never had known were there.

If you look at this logo, for Anheuser Busch you will see what I mean about the eagle head in picture 12. Reverse, but still the same.

I see the beak similarity, Eagle-like, but the rest of the bird looks like a seagull. It reminds me of the Seattle Seahawks logo, or maybe it symbolizes the hunter-scavenger hybrid...

I know it is only the beak and head, but I think it looks a lot closer than the gargoyle idea. As for the rest of the bird looking like a seagull, I don't know about that, but I have never seen a seagull with a eagles head before.

Although it does look something like the Anheuser Busch gargoyle, it looks very much like the gargoyles on the Chrysler building in NYC:

Sorry, I meant the Anheuser Busch LOGO, not gargoyle. And this picture is almost certainly pointing to NY.
