1. I like your idea about moving in a circular way, but we need a pattern to know which letters we have to take. If we simply read them in the order in which they appear we get the sentences I wrote in the first page of this thread. So any suggestions about how to move in the circle?

Ah, yes, circles! Wheels within wheels. Circumferences and diameters. Radii. Pi. Perhaps slices of pie.

The DaVinci Code film is released here tomorrow. And Winchester Cathedral has an exhibition on that is related to the book.

So can you have your cake and eat it?

Doesn't make any sense to me.

Perhaps divide the letters in slices, groups of 6 or 20 like the guards in the poem?

I never know if those are clues (very cryptic ones) or Winnie is just trying to confuse us a little bit more.

You'd never find me trying to confuse you. Oh no. Not me.

5. Circumferences and diameters? The problem with circumferences is that in the book the letters are not in a circular shape.

If we try to fit a circumference we can only take two letters out of each page (6 and 20 again?).

The diameter thing reminds me of the opposites attracting. The two ends of a diameter could be considered opposites, right?

The wheels made me think of The Wheel of Time but I don't think that Rand has anything to do with Winchester.

Ooooh I like pie ! - Speaking as a little piggie, I've often wondered how many slices you could get. I wonder if the pie was big enough, If you could get 30 slices from it

Depends on the size of the slice. You could get 30 if each slice were six degrees...

I pie....oop's spy... with my little eye that the name 'Winnie' has six letters, perhaps the italic ME is pointing this out. We can either have 5 x 6 = 30 or 6 x 5 = 30.

But 30 x 6 degrees = pi
